SCMS Proposal Deadline
–
August 31, 2018
Just a reminder folks. Feel free to use the War and Media Studies Facebook Group page to coordinate panels, and let your co-chairs know if you have a panel that might be ripe for SIG sponsorship (we can't guarantee acceptance, but it doesn't hurt).
The Society for Cinema and Media Studies announces its call for proposals for the 2019 conference.
Please join us Wednesday, March 13–Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel. The 2019 SCMS Conference Program Committee welcomes quality proposals on any topic related to cinema and media studies.
See Submitting a Proposal to SCMS: Guide for Success for helpful information on submitting a proposal.
In addition, On July 19, 2018, Pamela Wojcik, Miriam Petty, and Nick Davis held a Facebook Live discussion on what makes a successful SCMS conference proposal and answered members' questions. The archived event video can be found here.
The deadline for panels, workshops, roundtables, and papers is Friday, August 31, 2018, 5:00 PM CT.
